We have formed a group of 4 Professionals who are Members of EU Experience Unlimited in Irvine. We refer to ourselves as the Walmart 500. We would like to help guide the EDD attempt to hire 500 employees for the new Walmart store in Irvine.
The members of our group are frequently at the Orange County One Stop Building in Irvine CA at 125 Technology, which is located about 2 blocks from the new Walmart Store.
Our skills include the various processes involved in a successful job search, including Resume Critique, Training, Management, and Engineering.
We are aware that Wal-Mart is building a giant store in the vicinity of Alton and the 5 Freeway, in the building formerly occupied by Sears (The Great Indoors).
We have noticed that many people are having a very difficult time with filling out the online application. This has stopped many applicants from applying for a job at Walmart.
Our group would like to offer our services to support the Processes and Procedures to successfully apply online, and coordinate EDD and Walmart:
Establish an EU Link between EDD and Wal-Mart
- Meet with EDD and Wal-Mart people, to become coordinated
- Go through the Wal-Mart online system and provide methods for improving and simplifying the online application process
- Provide help with resume building, and resume critique
- Our group will provide Training for the Trainers (T4T)
- We can provide manpower to provide people who are already screened by EDD for their right to work documents.
We feel that we can provide skilled people at a fraction of the cost, and provide better people who are already screened.
